Intel Cantiga PM chipset for mobile CPUs is expected to be released in Q2. The Cantiga chipset is expected to feature support for DDR2-667/800 or DDR3-800/1066, a 1066MHz FSB speed, Enhanced Intel AMT v4.0, Turbo Memory 2.0, Echo Peak Wi-Fi/WiMAX, Shirley Peak Wi-Fi and Boazman GbE. The Cantiga chipset will be paired with the ICH9M south bridge.

Intel Cantiga GM chipset for mobile CPUs is expected to be released in Q2. The GM version of the Cantiga chipset features integrated graphics along with the featureset of the PM revision.

Windows XP SP3 is expected to be released in H1 2008. Windows XP SP3 is expected to be a fairly significant update containing new features as well as a roundup of security and bug fixes.

Intel Eaglelake P/G chipsets for the Core platform is expected to be released in Q2. Eaglelake will support a 1333Mhz FSB with DDR3-1333 memory and offer support for PCIe 2.0 across the board. Eaglelake G will also feature a new IGP offering HDMI, DVI, HDCP and DisplayPort outputs. Eaglelake will also feature Intel's ICH10 southbridge.

Intel ICH10 southbridge is expected to be released in 2008. ICH10 is expected to feature an integrated Wi-Fi controller alongside a 10Gb network controller, with reduced CPU overhead and power consumption, and a built in hardware firewall. Note that ICH10 is expected to remove support for legacy PS2 and LPT ports.
